Storing Your Jewelry

– If not worn, keep the jewels in their original packaging or in soft tissue bags . Avoid putting Murano glass jewels in contact with other metal or sharp objects that could scratch or damage them.

-If you want to combine another piece of jewelry in the same box, then make sure to wrap each one with a soft tissue paper. This way your jewelry does not become tangled. Keep your jewelry away from children.

– Do not expose Murano glass jewels to direct sunlight or excessive heat sources . The glass may discolor or lose its brilliance.

Cleaning Your Jewelry

-Clean your jewelry regularly. For best results, use a polishing cloth to keep your jewelry clean. You may also use a soft cotton fabric. Avoid using water to clean your jewelry, chemicals or abrasives which can potentially damage the polish and ruin the color and shine of glass. . Etched glass has to be regularly polished with hand or body cream, by doing so it won’t lose its brilliance.

-Dry jewels well after cleaning them , to prevent humidity from causing oxidation or stains.

Prevent Your Jewelry From Damage

-Keep your jewelry safe by avoiding any contact of perfume and hairspray, which can potentially tarnish the piece of jewelry. If you are applying makeup, it’s best to wait to put on jewelry until after you are done. Do not wear jewelry in the shower, swimming pool, or when playing sports.Water and steam could damage the glass or the materials with which it is combined.- Do not wear Murano glass jewelery when exercising or doing housework . Sweat, heat and shocks may affect the glass or cause scratches or breakage. If in any doubt, take it off and keep it safe.

-Be careful while fastening a necklace and make sure the clasp is hooked in the O ring. – Put on your pieces od jewelry standing on on a carpet.
