who we are
Corte Glass Studio is the atelier of Alberto Corte and Paola Scapin, a place where the tradition and mastery of Murano glassmakers meet the passion and art of its founders.
After completing classical studies, their passion for art led Alberto and Paola to pursue their artistic aspirations by studying glass fusing and learning the ancient lampworking technique.
In 2007, Alberto and Paola began designing and creating glass jewelry and sculptures, giving life to “Corte Glass Studio.” The atelier’s first location was in the Frari area of Venice, the city that inspired and shaped them.
In 2014, with the growth of their business, the Venetian space became insufficient, and they moved to the beautiful setting of Asolo, in the province of Treviso.
Today, Corte Glass Studio is recognized as a studio of master glassmakers that conceives, designs, creates, and sells fine glass artworks, including paintings, sculptures, and jewelry.
the studio
Lampworking is the primary technique used for creating our artworks and jewelry. With the combination of fire and oxygen from the torch, glass rods are shaped using simple tools to achieve the desired form, transforming them into objects that reflect light and create a play of colors and movement.
Being a master glassmaker means having a deep understanding of glass and its composition. Over the years, studying this material has pushed Corte Glass Studio to explore chromatic and formal boundaries, resulting in timeless design objects and jewelry.
